Understanding the natural lash growth cycle and correct hygiene is vital for client safety. We cover lash anatomy, contraindications, patch testing, and workstation hygiene — giving you a professional foundation that meets ABT’s national training standards.

Discover how to create bespoke lash looks tailored to each client. You’ll learn lash mapping, curl and length selection, and how to balance lash design for different eye shapes and face types. By the end of the course, you’ll know how to plan, map, and execute full Classic sets with confidence and precision.

Put everything you’ve learned into practice on a live model under direct supervision from your trainer. This one-to-one session ensures your posture, lash isolation, and placement technique are correct, helping you achieve safe, professional-quality results ready for real clients.

You’ll receive a full Classic Lash Kit containing premium products hand-selected by Megan Thomas Lash Academy. This kit includes lashes, adhesive, tweezers, eye pads, and essential accessories so you can start practising and working with clients immediately after training.

Every student receives a comprehensive training manual to keep for ongoing reference. It covers application techniques, lash health, styling, maintenance, and removal. You’ll also learn professional aftercare advice to pass on to your clients for better lash retention and long-term results.

The course is fully ABT-accredited, meaning your qualification is recognised throughout the UK by insurance providers. On successful completion, you’ll receive an official Classic Eyelash Extensions Certificate, allowing you to obtain insurance and start charging for your treatments straight away.

The Classic Eyelash Extensions Course is delivered as a one-day, one-to-one training programme held at our Derby academy.

Once you’ve mastered the fundamentals of Classic lash application, the natural next step is to progress onto our Russian Volume Lash Course. This advanced training teaches the art of creating fuller, fluffier lash sets using volume fanning and layering techniques — perfect for offering both Hybrid and Russian Volume styles to your clients.

By completing both the Classic and Russian Volume courses, you’ll be fully equipped to provide a complete range of professional lash extension services and grow your client base with confidence.
